Marking ten years of Little Thunder with a little creative excess.
To mark the launch of our Tropical Thunder Hazy IPA, we went all out on an explosive, neon soaked, 80’s throwback ad campaign. Supported by an original hard rock soundtrack and an equally action-packed website.

Belfast, born & brewed.
Tropical Thunder wears its roots proudly. We built local references into the ad, from the city's industrial grit and iconic Harland & Wolff cranes to the DeLorean, one of cinema's most recognisable cars, built right here in Belfast.

DIY, the 80s way.
For the ad, we created a fictional band called Wyld Hallyns, a nod to Bill & Ted with a distinctly local twist. We also fabricated a cassette deck for one scene, built from a mix of eBay finds, MDF and faux leather.

An 80s hard rock anthem.
To soundtrack the ad, we wrote and recorded a full-blown 80s hard rock track entirely in-house. Stacked with thunderous drums, crushing guitar riffs, a screaming solo and unapologetic hair metal vocals, it's meant to go to 11.

Turning it up online.
The website carries the same over-the-top energy as the ad. Neon-drenched visuals, subtle Belfast references throughout and a seamless way to order Tropical Thunder online.

I've survived deserts, jungles and fought enemies that weren't from this world. Tropical Thunder hits harder than all of them. It's cold, relentless and doesn't apologise. Now grab a can and get to the chopper.
